Pedicabs: What Makes Them so Great?

22-02-2021

Pedicabs are one of our many Mobile Out of Home (MOOH) formats. They stand out because they offer a unique format that when combined with our experienced campaign operators, creates a strong impact that keeps your brand in the minds of the public.

How exactly do Pedicabs work?

Pedicabs are similar to an Advertising Bike but with a seating area designed to hold two people at a time. They are powered by a campaign operator who provides transport from one location to another.

1. Artwork

Pedicab artwork has 360 degrees of impact, with 100% custom branding to maximise MOOH impressions. To view the artwork specifications for a pedicab, click here.

2. Power in Numbers

While having a single Pedicab attracts attention, they are typically used in larger numbers. You may choose to keep the Pedicabs together as a unit or to split them up to cover different pedestrian and commuter hotspots, both options result in large impression counts.

3. Environmentally Friendly

Our Pedicabs provide both a platform for advertisers and the unique ability to offer customers an eco-friendly journey from point A to B. Operating within a one-mile radius per day, we’re able to move around with a net-zero carbon footprint.

4. Perfect for Event Promotion

Pedicabs can be utilised effectively at events by picking people up from key locations such as high footfall stations or high streets and taking them to event venues. This provides your target audience with direct positive interaction with your brand, creating a memorable experience.

In 2019, American Express used multiple Pedicabs to take people from Southfields Station to Wimbledon, and even Novak Djokovic took up the offer of a free Pedicab ride to the games!

5. Campaign Routing

We always work alongside the client to produce routing, whether it's targeting commuter stations, public parks, high streets, and any other high footfall specified locations to help you achieve the most successful campaign possible.
