As a main Wimbledon sponsor, American Express dominates the All England Club with experiences and activations. AMEX wanted to explore ways to reach fans outside of the world famous tennis club by using an interactive, engaging out of home format.
A fleet of 7 pedicabs were deployed for the 14 days of The Championships to give spectators free lifts from Southfields station to the Wimbledon gates.
Pedicabs provided a great opportunity to interact with the public and create lasting, memorable experiences whilst reinforcing a positive attitude towards the AMEX brand.
Thousands of tennis fans arrived at the All England Club with ease, having used the pedicab journey to share their experience socially and discuss how much they loved their AMEX card and privileges.
