The NHS run regular campaigns to encourage more blood donations, making sure they have enough supplies of all blood groups and blood types to treat all types of conditions. MMG were called in to increase awareness of local blood donation sites and encourage donations.   

The client wanted to increase the number of blood donations across four specific locations in Folkestone, Canterbury, Tooting and Ashford by encouraging new donors to sign up and make sure that existing donors continue to donate to keep stocks healthy throughout the year. 


In each of the locations, one Backlit Advan parked in high footfall areas such as shopping centres and train stations, over a three day period. The large format Advans provided an unmissable presence within local communities and provided directions on how to register to give blood and maps to direct locals to donation sites. The rear panels also provided information on social media channels and how to download the NHS ‘Give Blood’ App.
